TINHIFI T6 offers interchangeable acoustic nozzle styles, and the TYPE-C Gaming version also lists Custom PEQ through compatible software. These are different ways of adjusting the listening setup. Begin with fit before deciding that either needs changing.
Use a matching nozzle style on the left and right earphones, fit the tips comfortably and bypass any EQ for the first comparison. Pick a familiar track and a comfortable listening level. An unequal seal can make a nozzle comparison misleading.
A nozzle is part of the earphone's acoustic path. Use only the supplied or approved parts and follow the T6 instructions for changing them. The outer nozzle mesh, internal foam and APC filter are distinct parts; do not combine random replacements or assume removing protection is a normal tuning option.
The official product page describes three nozzle styles. Listen to each supported configuration with the same recording instead of assuming a colour guarantees the same result for every listener.
EQ adjusts the electrical signal's frequency balance before it reaches the drivers. It can be saved and compared in compatible software, but boosts may require additional digital headroom. If an adjustment introduces distortion, reduce or bypass the processing before blaming the earphone.
Custom PEQ software support for the TYPE-C Gaming cable is separate from basic USB-C playback compatibility. Confirm your operating system and software requirements before relying on that feature.
Do not use different tuning parts to hide an unexplained fault. Check fit, source balance and filter condition first. If the imbalance persists, ask support to assess it.
Use the supported nozzle configuration you enjoy for a consistent physical setup. Use EQ when your source supports it and you want a reversible software adjustment. Neither approach substitutes for comfortable fit or a working cable.
